challenger explosion Should the cricket world cup be played in India or is every nation at threat from terrorism?
A bomb has exploded outside a cricket stadium in the southern Indian city of Bangalore, police say. Five people - four policemen and a security officer - were injured. The blast happened shortly before the start of an Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match. Police say the device was hidden in the perimeter wall. The match was scheduled to begin at 1600 (1030 GMT) with about 40,000 people in the stadium. It has now got under way. The Chinnaswamy Stadium is staging a match between the Bangalore Royal Challengers and the Mumbai Indians. The team's captains were walking out on to the pitch to toss the coin to decide who would bat first when the explosion happened. Q: NOW INDIA IS SAFE FOR WORLD CUP 2011?....I THINK NO...YOUR OPINIONS?

the challenger explosion was a major disaster in the space program, just years after they had began. what results of the explosion changed our history? programs, modifcations in the NASA program, etc. thanks!

how was the challenger disaster a turning point in history?
So I'm doing a presentation on the Space Shuttle Challenger Explosion and I want to include my classmates in doing something in order for them to learn more about it. I know that the unusually cold January weather was a determining factor to the disaster and it freezing the O-Ring helped in causing it to fail/break. I wanted to share this with them by having them try to break one rubber band frozen and one rubber band not frozen, will the frozen one be easier to break? That's the whole point I want to try to get across. If i can't use rubber bands, what would be another thing I could use to demonstrate this?

If I put a rubber band in the freezer will it make it easier to break? (need it for a presentation)?

Meaning: that if I were to research it and that if I needed a ten page report on it, would there be enough information? And I'm sorry for whoever saw it.......... That was a terrible day.

Is there a lot of information on the Challenger Explosion?
Hey everyone! :) So, I have to do a research project for this one class. The assignment is that for a couple of months, we're going to be working on a research project on an event (or something unique like opera or something) and the report, in the end, would have to be 10 pages long. Now, I have to come up with three possible ideas for this project. (I'm thinking the Challenger Explosion would be a good one but I don't know if there would be enough information on that.) And it can't be on something to broad like World War II. Any suggestions? Thanks so much! Please put as much as you can think of! I need help!

What are some of the most interesting events in history?
I have to create a DBQ about the Challenger explosion. I'm really having a hard time coming up with a question I can ask about it. Off of that question, I have to find 10 different sources (pics, speeches, graph, map, ect.) that fits with the question. Can someone please suggest what question I should ask? I'm thinking about creating one on about who's at fault for the accident. But I don't know how to back that up with sources.
